Learning to accept my father's faults and humanity were the first steps in forgiving him, I practiced forgiving him until I totally integrated my forgiveness of him into the total fabric of my own heart and mind. It did take time because some things he would say at times would trigger the old thought of unforgiveness, but I have learned to quickly replace the negative thought patterns with ones of love and grace.
Even convicted sex offenders who have not reformed clearly pose less danger to those around them when they become old and/or infirm. Still, they can be a threat and it is one of which nursing home residents in Ohio at least ought to be aware.Nursing home residents deserve same protections (Tribune Chronicle)
